I know - it's fabulous - she's really seriously talented:) My husband made Thomas (with a lot of direction from me:) last year. But we just didn't think we had the time for a homemade costume this year. He doesn't get in from work until tommorrow - just a week before the festival. I'm on the children's committee and helping to PLAN the whole shebang so we decided to just buy a costume this year.
Jack wasn't into anything specific like last year so we have been able to browse. We have had THE MOST FUN looking through costume books!! We have worn them out. After some talking about costumes that Jesus didn't like that much (like when Jack wanted to be "Demon Boy" at the church fall festival:), we decided on a brave knight - cape and all!
We got the costume and I was super pleased with it. I got in touch with LeighAnne again and even though she is about to have her third child VERY soon, she very sweetly agreed to take some more fantastic costume pictures of Jack for me today. I love, love, love them, but I'll let you judge for yourself!

The very crafty director of Jack's daycare, Mrs. Jenny, made him this cute bucket for all his festival loot!

You can check LeighAnne's photography out under Nanabell Art in my favorites list. Bring on the festival - if there are any dragons present, my brave knight has it under control!!

SO handsome!! I love it! The name on the cape is perfect! :)
She does always take the BEST photos, how sweet she does it even at that pg stage.
His outfit is so freaking awesome, did you guys make that one too? Go Dragon Slayer!

I love this! Great idea about getting pics made in the costume. I've never thought of that! Fun!

Lori, he is a precious knight! I love everything about it. Thank you for your prayers for our friend's son. I will keep you posted. He is still hanging in there.

I know my son would love it too, lol, but you can not find anything that great in a store...

Sir Jack!! I LOVE it!
She is very talented at photography. These photos are magazine worthy.
It's also perfect for the cooler weather.
He is just adorable!
Oh I LOVE the one where he is looking down with the bucket next to him!
That is beautiful- or should I say, totally manly? It is just the photos are so fantastic! he rocks the knight look!
Awesome costume! Just for the record, Eli is going to be a knight, too. His costume is nowhere near as cool as Jack's, but he got a sword with the deal and that is all he cares about. :)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the costume!! Where do you shop for them? You always pick the best ones for him. I know Ben made last year's.
Oh my! These are so adorable!
